What do Public Adjusters Do?

Public Adjusters

A public insurance adjuster is an independent, licensed, trained professional that helps property owners with the insurance claim process. A public adjuster works for the policyholder to ensure their claim is settled in a fair and efficient manner.

When policyholders engage with the public adjuster they see 3-5x the settlement that they would receive otherwise and do not have to deal with the claims process themselves.

Insurance Adjuster vs. Public Adjuster

Unlike an insurance company adjuster, a public adjuster advocates exclusively for policyholders.

The financial interests of insurance companies are best served by convincing policyholders to accept the lowest compensation possible. Public adjusters advocate for policyholders to receive full and fair compensation on insurance claims.

Public adjusters are often more thorough in their damage analysis than insurance company adjusters because of their training and because their loyalties are to the policyholder, and not the insurance company.
